We all got a little tired chipping icicles off of one another

We will resume again when the temperatures return to saner conditions and our heating system joins us in the 21st century.

This has been a blast up to this point - a very interesting experiment that will be resumed bent into a slightly different shape  shortly:)

Participants seem to be finding that a group of individuals from wildly different backgrounds brainstorming their idea/plans to be a very helpful way of reality checking what they have while finding new support to accelerate their idea development.

This experiment to prove the usefulness of brainstorming sessions involving people with very different backgrounds (developers, social entrepreneurs, business, artists, etc.) willing to help others develop their concepts or help refine their approach has been quite exciting.

So, we will be continuing Innovation Wednesdays for the foreseeable future. Everyone is welcome to join in - bring your idea or have fun working on the fascinating concepts of others. There is only 1 emerging challenge: you can’t help everyone. This is a very nice problem to have.

The last 2 Wednesdays were fantastic explorations that sometimes had a think tank feel and other times moved rapidly from great topic to great topic. Everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves and their interests and sometimes has the entire room problem solving and working on their issues. It is an evolving process and one of our topics tonight is what kind of context do we want to create for these ongoing meetups - keep it the same or add a little more structure around topics etc.

We hope to add skype capability for those whose geography doesn’t allow them to be physically present - over time, this should be great fun for some of our late night European friends and our west coast afternooners (is that a word?).
