    Good day, I stumbled upon this article while trying to solve a problem for a Low Temperature Differential stirling engine application.
    In general, displacers for these engines tend to be way too large at low temperature differentials. The only option at the moment is to increase the pressure in the working fluid, wich leads to new technical difficulties.
    I believe that there is a possibility to simplify the device design by replacing the conventional piston or displacer with a compliant structure such as these “tension pistons”, reducing the cost of the device, which is my main goal on the investigation.
    I wanted to leave the comment, and if there are any insights from another developer´s end I would be very grateful to recieve them.
