Napping in the crib

The sensor can be placed in a mobile or embedded in the crib, out of the baby’s reach.

 
Researchers in Texas have made a medial breakthrough in the fight against Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or SIDS.

They’re working on a wireless sensor system that would measure the amount of carbon dioxide being inhaled by sleeping babies. It would be able to detect if and when that baby stops breathing and notify the parents.

“And I thought well, this is a very good cause not only can we do research at the same time we can save a baby’s life.
