Bad Money

Every now and then a book comes along that brings together a lot of what you have been thinking . . . and then stretches it to a very uncomfortable break-through point.
Bad Money, by Kevin Phillips, follows on the heals of his two other hugely insightful books, American Dynasty and American Theocracy. Amongst other major insights and arguments, it persuasively brings together the double whammy of energy dependency and financial uber manipulation to lead us to a potentially devastating truth:
The end of empire is a particularly dangerous time and the American Empire may well be headed for a much more dangerous period than anyone would like to believe.
These 3 books are a must read for anyone concerned with the underlying realities of global issues and the very real impact of current conditions brought on by the dominant mentality of the the American leadership.
Instead of merely moving money around and increasingly mortgaging the future, we need to once again start building things. In the midst of so many potential black holes, America has one bright star on it’s horizon - the ingenuity of true innovation. It is what built the country and it is likely to be the one thing that can save it. - IT
