A big part of what we like to do is to bring people together. We have now received enough informal requests to help connect the dots for people that we will begin to do this online. This free posting service is open to those who have attended any of our events or have stepped up to help Innovation Toronto to date. We are limiting the posting opportunity to those we know or have had some dealings with for the time being.

Please send us your needs/wishes (already have 1 posted for example) and we will post them on a separate page. Here are some things to consider:

1. Without giving away your idea entirely, do write something that will entice interest. It will then be up to both parties to decide if there is something there of mutual interest once initial contact has been made.
2. Make sure you are clear in your description of what you need. Sometimes this can be difficult if you are not experienced in putting together a team for your project. If you are not certain whether you need 1 or 4 developers working in php or java, 1 or 3 marcom people etc., ask for someone who could act in an advisory role to help you define exact needs.
3. On the other side of the equation, if you are a developer looking for a new challenge, be specific about your area(s) of interest
4. What is the basis of for your proposal for participation? Paid position(s), equity, community contribution or a combination?
5. Please be light on the use of formatting as WordPress does tend to do strange things to multiple bullets, indents etc.
6. Finally, let us know if you have found useful connectivity already through our events or contacts. Stories are important and we would like to tell some of them from time to time to encourage others.
